Today we had the pleasure of having Imam Amir Abdul Malik join us and share his insights on the God consciousness and social media.
The assembly was organized by Br. Sabir Ibrahim, one of the parents at Peace Terrace who wanted to give the students some food for thought before summer vacations.
The Imam talked about the pros and cons of social media and the impact that it has on society and reminded the students that their Taqwa would dictate if some thing was crossing the line. May Allah bless him for this timely reminder.
Henri Matisse once said. “Creativity takes courage” and he couldn’t have been more right. An artist puts his/her heart and soul into each piece and there is so much vulnerability in the process of sharing it with others.
Alas, our students are courageous, so we present to you our annual exhibit.
Thank you to all the parents who attended our opening day. The exhibit will be open until Friday at Noon. Please feel free to stop by to purchase your child’s art work.
